WHO WE ARE
We are a community of people from all different backgrounds and of all different ages who share a common worldview that has transformed our lives and hearts. We have something in common which brings us together as a community to love one another and to worship. This common worldview is that the man Jesus Christ is our Saviour, King and God. From the moment we received this good news our lives have not been the same, our ambitions have changed, our motivations have shifted and our hope is certain. Jesus set us free from our sins and promised us that He is our God and we are His people, to live with Him and His people for all eternity.
WHAT WE DO
Through the resurrection, Jesus is crowned King over all the earth. As the King, who rules His Kingdom, His subjects are those who submit to His authority and live accordingly as citizens of His Kingdom. These people are called Christians; we submit to Jesus as our King, Saviour and God. This means His Word; the Bible is our sole authority in religion and life and we align our lives to it. Jesus is not just our God for one hour on a Sunday morning but He is our God in all aspects of life. One of His commands to His people is to go and proclaim this good news and call others to be part of His eternal Kingdom and to teach them the ways of His kingdom rule.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20
